Why are leaders important to the success of an organization? Leadership is essential to organizations around the world. Engaged leaders help make an organization successful and help to develop the next generation of leaders. The most successful organizations do not always recruit great leaders, they grow their own. They invest in their development to such a level that a pool of prepared and engaged talent is available to step into critical positions and responsibilities when the time comes. Quality service can only be delivered if employees are engaged, trained, and prepared to do their jobs. Employees are able to deliver an outstanding service experience and achieve measured results when leaders effectively lead their teams. Participants will learn ways to improve their leadership skills as well as their emotional intelligence. This course will provide participants with an awareness of the five leader behaviors which employees expect of their leaders. It will also identify areas within themselves that they can take action on to become a better leader or develop leadership skills that will allow them to step into leadership roles at their organization.

Online Course
This course is designed to help you navigate the steps to apply for and acquire a job. The course is composed of three modules, creating a resume, writing a cover letter, and preparing for the interview. Each module provides written content, videos and activities for practice, and a short assessment.
Principles of Resume Writing – Student will be able to: Explain what a resume is and the reason to have one, Identify the three types of resumes, recognize the parts of a resume and the proper way to present the content, create a resume using a template.
Writing a Cover Letter – Student will be able to: Explain the purpose of a cover letter and how it is different from a resume, identify the parts of a cover letter, create a unique cover letter specific to the job you are looking for.
Preparing for the Interview – Student will be able to: Respond to potential interview questions, ask relevant questions of the interviewer(s) at the conclusion of the interview, provided a great impression of yourself on the day of the interview.
