SUMMARY:Engaged Leaders – Foundation for the Future
DESCRIPTION:Why are leaders important to the success of an organization? Leadership is essential to organizations around the world. Engaged leaders help make an organization successful and help to develop the next generation of leaders. The most successful organizations do not always recruit great leaders\, they grow their own. They invest in their development to such a level that a pool of prepared and engaged talent is available to step into critical positions and responsibilities when the time comes. Quality service can only be delivered if employees are engaged\, trained\, and prepared to do their jobs. Employees are able to deliver an outstanding service experience and achieve measured results when leaders effectively lead their teams. Participants will learn ways to improve their leadership skills as well as their emotional intelligence. This course will provide participants with an awareness of the five leader behaviors which employees expect of their leaders. It will also identify areas within themselves that they can take action on to become a better leader or develop leadership skills that will allow them to step into leadership roles at their organization. \n Sign Up Here

SUMMARY:Measurement Tools
DESCRIPTION:Measurement Tools training introduces the fundamentals principles of measurement including basic measurement\, precision measurement\, direct gauging\, indirect gauging\, and dimensional measurements using both the U.S. customary system as well as the S.I. metric system.  Understanding how to perform accurate measurements is relevant to technical careers such as quality control inspector\, machinist\, manufacturing engineer\, operations manager\, and production technician.  Students will apply fundamental measurement principles using industry-standard tools such as dial calipers\, micrometers\, and dial indicators to achieve accurate measurements that are essential to any technical career.  This hands-on training helps students develop skills in measuring length\, dimensions\, and gauging while learning on precisely machined parts that challenge the learner to make accurate measurements.  The measurement tools and precisely machined parts used in the training not only teach the learner how to use the tools properly\, but also teaches the proper application and use of the various parts. \n Sign Up Here
